The Most EYE POPPING Muscle Car Ever Built!
Originally Born ,A Lazy ,Stock #242 Pepper Green GTO
Destined for a boring life "UNTIL"
it was turned into a "WICKED FAST"
Street RA IV monster !!
The engine is the ORIGINAL block -
it was born with ,
but re-stamped "WW"
to indicate an original Ram Air IV engine !!
It was then bored to 4.165
deck squared,Pro Gram Enginering
4 bolt main caps and installed with
Diamond Racing Pistons
attached to Eagle Forged Rods !!
The original crankshaft was
guaged and polished !!
Then the whole assembly was
balanced to perfection and
mated to an original set of
# 614 Ram Air IV
round port "SUPER HEADS"
complete with new guides and SS Valves !!
WOW !!! What a "MONSTER MOTOR" !!
Dyno horsepower right at
400 at the REAR wheels
which puts this one of a kind
BAD BOY at 500 hp at the crank !!!
The flywheel is a new steel unit
with a center force, dual friction clutch !!
The transmission chosen was a
brand "NEW" Richmond T-10 ($1,700.00)
for better gear ratios
Original shifter was rebuilt by Hurst
with new linkage installed !!
The rear axle was born to the car ,
but now sports an Eaton Posi Unit
with stump puller 4.33 gears !!
All new bearings were installed
with Moser hardended axles.
The entire frame and suspension
was powder coated as well !!!
All new suspension parts,bushings and
NOS steering box installed as well
with stainless lines,brake parts,
and gas tank !!
A complete 2.5 inch exhaust was installed
with new tips rounds out this performance package !!

The body was sent to "MEDIA BLAST "
and upon return was primed and blocked
5 different times to achieve perfect flat panels
.. After that the entire body was sprayed
with 4 coats of Dupont Chroma base,
then CLEARED with 5 coats of
DuPont Clear to make the car shine
Like "ORANGE GLASS" that could NEVER
have looked like this in the 70's !!!!
The interior is totally "NEW"
with Legendary seat covers and
door panels..
All seat belts were redone
and are like new !!
Dash pad was sent to "JUST DASHES"
with the gauge panel
re-chromed and painted correctly !!
The steering column was rebuilt
with new bearings,turn signal, and switch
The door glass is original and very nice
The rest of the glass is brand new !

As you can see,
MONEY was never a concern
on this "one of a kind" "TRIBUTE"
example that was meticulously
put back together
one bolt and screw at a time !!
